Hi there, we’re the Smoak family!
While Dixie Farms Lavender is a fairly new adventure for our family, the place where the dream began has been our home for over three decades. In 1985, newlyweds Randal and Sandie bought an early 1900’s house on twenty acres in the small farming community of Dixie, La. Over the years, farming, creating, baking, and healthy living have been a part of our life. When the idea of growing and harvesting lavender came up around the dinner table, it was no surprise. We each have our own creative ideas to add and a “small patch of lavender” quickly grew into an “all hands on deck” family project.
It is a joy to work together using our various God-given talents to bring you naturally wholesome and handmade products.
